The VINCI Concessions affiliate Two Capitals Highway – managing two large sections of the Moscow- St. Petersburg highway – received the national ROSINFRA award in the category “High-quality investments in infrastructure” to recognize its application of the G20 Principles for Quality Infrastructure.

The G20 “Principles for Quality Infrastructure Investment” are a corpus of norms adopted in 2019, at a finance ministers and central banks governors meeting under Japanese presidency of the G20 forum. VINCI Concessions has always been dedicated to building strong, sustainable and durable infrastructure, which the G20 principles encourage. According to the wording of the principles, infrastructure is the engine of economic prosperity, solid economic growth and sustainable, inclusive and balanced development.

Two Capitals Highway was established in July 2013 to integrate the project for the construction and operation of Sections 7 and 8 of Moscow – St. Petersburg M11 Highway thanks to a partnership with VINCI Concessions. The CEO of Two Capitals Highway,  Anton Novikov, notes that M11 has been the major infrastructure construction project in Russia in recent years: “The demand for the route is very high: during the summer season, the traffic broke all records, 30 to 35 thousand cars passed through our section every day, although we initially only expected approximately 20 thousand. We are proud of the results of our work!”.
