The Peruvian subsidiary of VINCI Highways (VINCI Concessions), Lima Expresa, has just signed an agreement with Waze, a mobile driving assistance application, to join its international “Waze for Cities” programme.

The expressway operations control centre will be informed in real time of incidents recorded on the application by its users, while the application will be automatically updated whenever an incident is detected by one of the 120 monitoring cameras installed on the lanes. An innovative technological solution to enhance the experience of motorists, which VINCI Highways’ Colombian subsidiary, Via 40 Express, is also expected to adopt shortly.
