VINCI Concessions celebrated International Women’s Day by organizing a webinar gathering over 300 women employees across the network. Reflections and field testimonies regarding the feminization of mobility professions were on the agenda. This event also marked the launch of a web series: “Women on the move”. Its objective: highlighting the contribution of women to mobility by following inspiring career paths within VINCI Concessions.

This mobilization was widely shared across VINCI Concessions’ international network, for example in Brazil, where Salvador airport organized a series of debates between women from various backgrounds, around subjects such as the role of companies in addressing domestic violence . In addition to this project, an information campaign was created to bring together young trainees and apprentices in order to highlight all the opportunities offered by the labor market, and to promote transmission between generations of women. In Peru, Lima Expresa recalled that it is essential to strengthen the place of women in technical and operational professions by implementing the Girls in Sciences and Tech campaign, which allowed to collect the testimony of Belen Marcos, Chair of VINCI Highways. Teams at London Gatwick airport highlighted their educational partnership, whose objective is to encourage young girls to consider engineering careers. In Chile, Santiago airport will organize a meeting on March 16th, bringing together women from the aeronautical world to discuss the theme of “Women shaping the future of the aeronautics and airports industry”. Airport teams have also set up an original commercial campaign to celebrate Women’s Month with an interactive booth allowing passengers to enjoy a moment of relaxation while passing through the airport.
