VINCI Concessions innovates against the virus
To provide passengers with the best possible health conditions, VINCI Airports has deployed a mobile application at Lisbon airport in Portugal that allows passengers to give their opinion in real time on the health measures put in place.
A total of 146 QR Codes are distributed in 43 different locations throughout the airport. An autonomous ultraviolet disinfection robot has also been also deployed.
These innovations have enabled the 10 Portuguese airports to obtain the “Clean & Safe” label awarded to the teams on 15 June by the President of Turismo de Portugal, Luis Araujo, and the Secretary of State for Tourism, Rita Marques.
In France, VINCI Airports is working with the National Tourism Development Agency Atout France to develop new solutions in partnership with start-ups.
For VINCI Highways, digitalized payment on motorways has been strongly encouraged throughout the network. In Greece, for example, where the Olympia Odos motorway between Athens and Patras, operated by VINCI Hihgways, is to date the only motorway in the country to allow motorists to carry out their transactions completely contactless.
