LIMA EXPRESA (VINCI Highways), the concession company in charge of the Via de Evitamiento and the Linea Amarilla express road, is deploying a fleet of eight 100% electric vehicles designed to improve the energy and environmental performance of this vital infrastructure for the Peruvian capital.

After conducting a pilot project in 2019, the new fleet of eight 100% electric vehicles is now ready to hit the road. In addition to its positive environmental impact, this deployment will make it possible to significantly reduce operating costs.

LIMA EXPRESA has also set up the first free electric recharging station on Via de Evitamiento, at the Huanuco operating base. This station is available to all motorists with electric cars.

These initiatives illustrate VINCI Highways’ commitment, wherever it operates, to promoting the development of initiatives linked to green growth and serving users and regions.
