LIMA EXPRESA, a VINCI Highways company and concessionaire of the Vía de Evitamiento and the Línea Amarilla express route, obtained two recognitions by virtue of its contribution to sustainable development during the 2022 Proactivo Awards ceremony.

LIMA EXPRESA was awarded first place in the 2022 Proactive Awards, in the category "Entities and Institutions linked to the energy mining sector", for the "Circular Economy with Social Progress" project.

This initiative promotes recycling of waste and also gender equity through the participation of groups of women from vulnerable populations and low economic resources, giving them economic independence from their work of valorization of waste (plastic sheeting from outdoor advertising and work uniform).

In addition, LIMA EXPRESA obtained the third place in the category "Entities and institutions linked to the energy mining sector, for "Organic waste treatment plant and compost generation" project. The concessionaire consolidated a multi-stakeholder dialogue process, providing the necessary infrastructure for the production of compost and ensuring its maintenance; for its part, the District Municipality of Rimac provides specialized labor and the Santa Rosa Flower Market provides the inputs for the production of compost. With this project, LIMA EXPRESA transformed a problem of environmental pollution and road insecurity into a commercial opportunity for its allies.

Janis Rey, CEO of VINCI Highways Peru and General Manager of LIMA EXPRESA stated, "We are very happy and proud with the two Proactive Awards obtained. Both are not only a recognition for our circular economy initiatives with social impact, but they really matter because they generate a positive impact for the environment and people".
