Lima Expresa : a new name for Lima's express lanes
LIMA EXPRESA is now the new name of the company in charge of Via de Evitamiento and Linea Amarilla expressway, two lanes that connect the city of Lima in Peru. This change of name reflects the positive impact of VINCI Highways in the country.
Improved safety indicators, better fluidity and time savings… The change of name from LAMSAC to LIMA EXPRESA celebrates great achievements. Arrived in Peru three years ago, VINCI Highways, the world leader in road concessions that acquired the company, has dedicated to fulfilling its commitments. “In less than 18 months, we completed work on a mega-project that was at a standstill and we managed to deliver a new express road to the city. We are proud to have reduced the accident rate on the Via de Evitamiento by more than 50%. Today, we offer fluidity and time saving with 25 km of additional roads that are monitored, clean and in good condition. This is a real positive impact”, says Laurent Cavrois, Managing Director of LIMA EXPRESA.
The creation of LIMA EXPRESA is also part of a global strategy: 70 concession companies of VINCI Group, in 20 countries, have already begun a process of integral transformation of their corporate brands, with the ambition of integrating and enhancing the identity of the cities where they operate, highlighting local singularities and distinctions.
The new brand also reflects VINCI Highways’ global leadership in road concessions, with more than 3,500 km of roads and motorways managed in Canada, United States of America, Germany, Greece, Russia and Latin America.
Finally, LIMA EXPRESA reaffirms a commitment to transparency and respect for ethical principles, which is a common feature of all VINCI companies around the world. It expresses a vision of sustainable concessions and mobility, which involves all the players in its value chain and takes into account environmental protection.
“Our new image represents who we really are. We arrived in Peru at the end of 2016 to respond collectively to the lack of infrastructure’s problem, with a long-term vision and an ethical commitment. We have hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers who travel daily on two safe express routes. We have customers whose quality of life and mobility have improved thanks to our road infrastructure,” said Mr. Cavrois.
The new brand proudly displays this impact and the support of VINCI Highways in a country and shows how the concessions it manages contribute to improving people’s daily lives and mobility.
The new identity has a slogan that expresses the value promise to its customers: Connect, flow, live.
