In Peru, VINCI Highways is committed to positive and inclusive mobility
Solidarity initiatives continue to emerge within the VINCI Highways network which is still mobilised in the service of medical staff and its stakeholders.
To deal with the risk of the Covid-19 virus spreading and encourage Peruvians citizens to continue to travel but in an even more responsible and supportive manner, Lima Expresa, the concession company in charge of the Peruvian capital’s expressways, has designed and published a Vital Education Handbook in the country which aims to inculcate and improve mobility behaviour, but not only that. The company uses road signs that indicate how to get around on the roads and also inform about the most responsible way to use the Internet, social distancing, and the application of hygiene measures when going out of one’s home. This Vital Education Handbook, a first in Peru, is part of VINCI Highways’ sustainable and societal policy in the country.
