12 countries take part in VINCI Highways’ first Safety Week
Ensuring the safety of its employees who work every day on the 3,564 kilometers of its network is a priority for VINCI Highways. This week, VINCI Concessions’ subsidiary organized its very first safety week throughout its international network.
At VINCI Highways, safety is about proactivity. The ambition of this initiative was to raise awareness among all employees of best practices to protect all collaborators. Spread over 12 countries, the 5,240 employees of VINCI Highways’ 30 entities gathered around the theme “Safety by choice, not by chance”.
In a video broadcast to each entity, Nicolas Notebaert reminded everyone of the importance he attaches to the safety of employees and subcontractors, the objective of zero accidents and the network’s synergies to achieve it.
A short film raising awareness of risk behavior was used to encourage discussions on everyday attitudes towards dangers.
Experience sharing, debates, workshops, real-life simulation or virtual reality exercices, events with employees’ families, many initiatives were held this week, designed by each entity in line with its specific challenges.
