The athlete Jovana de la Cruz, sponsored by LIMA Expresa, will represent Peru at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games
As part of its commitment to connect more people and make a positive impact for all, LIMA EXPRESA, a VINCI Highways company, concessionaire of the Via de Evitamiento and the Linea Amarilla expressway in Lima, Peru, has announced the sponsorship of Jovana de la Cruz, an athlete who will participate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games women’s marathon final.
De la Cruz, 29, has become a Peruvian long-distance runner who has been recognised in international competitions. Despite injuries and a pregnancy that prevented her from training for some time, Jovana qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games after being crowned national champion in the Peruvian Bicentennial Marathon. To show its support and encourage Jovana De La Cruz, LIMA EXPRESA presents an audiovisual piece that seeks to recognise the effort and perseverance of the runner to qualify for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Her story represents that of thousands of Peruvians, and the video seeks to inspire others to achieve their dreams.
